The Big Brother Program seeks to empower young boys through the participation of sports, fishing and lifelong skills that will prepare them for life. Through sports they also build confidence, learn life skills, and perseverance needed to overcome challenges, reach their full potential, and to become more productive, responsible, and confident young men. Arcfcorp BIG Brothers provide a safe space and supportive environment where young boys can build trust, develop self-confidence, and strengthen their character.
The program emphasizes academic encouragement by helping youth set educational goals, develop effective study habits, and recognize the value of lifelong learning. We promote healthy decision-making by teaching critical thinking, problem-solving, and responsible choices in everyday situations, integrity, respect, accountability, and perseverance with each mentoring experience. By serving as positive role models, mentors encourage youth to demonstrate honesty, compassion, and accountability.

The Big Goals Program is geared towards setting meaningful goals and creating a plan to achieve them. They will learn to break big goals into smaller, manageable action steps that make progress easier and more achievable. The program also helps the young men track their progress, overcome obstacles, and stay motivated when challenges arise. By celebrating accomplishments along the way, they will build confidence, perseverance, and a lifelong goal-setting mindset.

Our Fishing Program introduces youth to fishing as a lifelong hobby while teaching the value of integrity and learning valuable life skills such as patience, perseverance, and responsible decision-making through hands-on experiences. The program emphasizes environmental stewardship by teaching conservation practices and respect for natural resources. By developing a new skill, youth build confidence, discipline, and an appreciation for healthy life skills.
